Overview

Scope: SessionLimit 2.1

SessionLimit is an enterprise-grade access control and session governance platform designed for Windows-based environments. It enables organizations to define, enforce, and audit user session behaviour with precision — ensuring that compliance, security, and operational control standards are met.

SessionLimit monitors and restricts user sessions across endpoints, allowing administrators to apply security policies such as time-based access limits, multi-session prevention, online and offline 2FA authentication, and manager-approval workflows. The platform provides detailed visibility into user activity, generating comprehensive audit logs that can be consumed for compliance reporting and forensic analysis.

SessionLimit operates seamlessly with Active Directory and supports both LDAP and Global Catalog querying for efficient user/group resolution. It integrates into existing enterprise infrastructure with minimal footprint, using agent-based and server-side components that communicate securely over configured service channels.
